CAROLYN'S NATURAL SOAP

Carolyn's Natural Soap is real soap made in my kitchen here in Perry, Kansas. I use the method our grandparents used called "Cold Processed". It takes more time, but it's quite rewarding to see how each batch looks when finished. The ingredients are carefully added and mixed, then placed in boxes for drying. After 8-10 hours the soap is ready to be hand cut in approx. 6 oz bars. These bars are set on racks to continue to dry for several weeks.
The ingredients I use are the finest in organic oils saponified with an alkali, extra virgin olive, coconut, & palm oil. Herbal tea made with distilled water and herbs grown here on the farm. Olive oil is approx 55% of the batch and gives the bars a natural greenish tint and conditioning lather. When I add the teas and then raw milk from our Jersey cows the soaps have the most beautiful natural colors. Jersey milk is so full of butterfat that these bars lather with richness few have experienced. The moisturizing qualities in every ingredient makes my soap unique cleaners and skin softeners. Pure essential oils from herbs, petals, fruits, spices and flowers are added to each batch to match the herbal tea to enhance the cleaning experience. A drop of raw honey is added as a preservative and hydrater. Organic ground oatmeal helps with skin exfoliating.
I make 13 different types of soaps. Each type has special herbs that change the color tones and give beautiful qualities to the soap.
Soaps with extra oils added:
SHEA BUTTER (Lady Lavender, Lemonade, Orchard Breeze, and Romantic Rosemary)
AVOCADO OIL (Papa's Peppermint, Prairie Sage, and Second Hand Rose)
TEA TREE OIL (Mint Tea Lady)
Macadamia Nut Oil (Everything Nice)
My Udderly Creamy face soap has the basic oils but added oils like shea butter, jojoba, avocado, sunflower, and the fat of the emu (Emu Oil) all these oils & fat have extra special qualities that moisturize & gently clean the skin. The Jersey milk & cream feeds the skin with protective proteins & vitamins. Each face bar is hand cut to approx. 4 oz.
